Section Descriptions
- Section 1 -
- From US 23 at Yeager to the head of Stagger Fork. Initial construction will include an at-grade intersection with US 23. A grade-separated interchange will be constructed at US 23 when enough traffic begins utilizing US 460.
- Section 2 -
- From the head of Stagger Fork, through Kendrick Hollow, to Greasy Creek Road. This section includes an interchange with Greasy Creek Road.
- Section 3 -
- From Greasy Creek Road, behind Greasy Creek Elementary School, up Gardiner Fork, to the head of Snake Branch.
- Section 4A -
- From the head of Snake Branch, south of Wolfpit Branch Road, to Wolfpit Branch.
- Section 4B -
- From Wolfpit Branch to KY 195.
- Section 5 -
- From KY 195 to the mouth of Laurel Branch. This section includes an interchange with KY 195.
- Section 6A -
- From the mouth of Laurel Branch to and across Pond Creek.
- Section 6B -
- From Pond Creek, past Jessie Branch, down Dunleary Hollow to the Russell Fork.
- Section 6C -
- The bridge crossing the Russell Fork and KY 80.
- Section 7A -
- From KY 80, up Beaver Creek, for 3,000 feet. This section includes an interchange with KY 80.
- Section 7B -
- From 3,000 feet up Beaver Creek to KY 1373 at the Left Fork of Beaver Creek.
- Section 8 -
- From the Left Fork of Beaver Creek, up the Right Fork of Beaver Creek, across Wolfpen Branch, and to the Virginia state line.
- Section 9V -
- From the Virginia state line, across Grassy Creek, to VA 80.
